Geoff Thomas Hodgson
Died : Saturday 17th February 2007
Occupation : Former Liverpool Postman
Lived in Kirkby, Liverpool (originally from Manchester)
Married to Pat and has two children Karen and Geoff, also has three grandchildren Adam, Laura and
Kizzy.

Geoff was my grandad and the best one I could ask for, 2 years ago he and nan were in a bad accident
and their car was flipped over and both were injured, from then on grandad developed an illness
called p.s.p. it is similar to Parkinsons and Alzimers and often mistaken for these diseases, though
doctors stated the accident had nothing to do with his illness it seems to me he was so full of
life and laughter before the crash i cant blame it on anything else. For the last 2 years this
horrible illness has taken hold of my grandad slowly until Saturday 17th Februray 2007 he closed his
lovely eyes and fell asleep, peacefully. We all love him so much and wish he could have stayed with
us without the pain. Always a huge smile and a hug everytime time we met, I cant even begin to think
what the future holds and what life will be like without him here, our family is very small but very
strong and with his love and memories im sure we will get through the hard times together, never a
goodbye just a see you soon * To the best Husband, Dad and Grandad ever
All our love and kisses
Loving Wife Pat
Daughter Karen and Husband Ken
Son Geoff and Wife Ali
Grandchildren Adam, Laura and Kizzy

You keep 'rocking all over the world' grandad!!!!

my wonderful geoff

On the day God took you
I thought that I would die
I wondered where the time went?
I asked alot of whys??
With people all around me
I felt alone inside
From all their words of comfort,
I couldn't seem to hide,
I thought I might be dreaming
That I'd wake and find you here,
I thought

miss me

when i come to the end of the day,
and the sun has set for me,
i want no rights in a floom filled room,
why cry for a soul set free??
miss me little but not too long,
and not with your head bowed low,
remember the love we once shared.
miss me but let me go.
for this is a journey we all must take,
and we each must go alone,
its all part of our makers plan,
a step on the road to go home.
so when your lonely and sick at heart,
go to the friends we know,
and bury your sorrows in doing goo deeds,
miss me but let me go xxxxx

STILL MISSING YOU

We thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
We thought about you yesterday,
And the days before that, too.
We think of you in silence.
We often speak your name.
Now all we have are memories,
And your picture in a frame.
Your memory is our keepsake,
With which we'll never part.
God has you in His Keeping.
We have you in our Heart.
Love you so much miss you more!!!!! xxxxxxxx

My Beautiful Grandad

Was the sun shining brighter? Was the sky a deeper blue? Or was this world a better place when we shared it with you??

Every time I hear this song it reminds me of you and makes me smile the way you used to, one day Ill be rocking all over the world with you, up there in the clouds, untill we meet again. The Best Grandad Ever Made. Love Always
